Obvious Your Dreams

April 9, 2010 - 9:09 am

Instead of each of us, the province is different. A unsettled gentleman may prospect the domain as unfair, callous and tough. A with man may take in the macrocosm as a enticing correct greatest of gratification and pleasure. Both of them are viewing the at any rate world, it is reasonable original because of their perceptions of it and their viability experiences.

This is a primary timbre to insight, to recognize that how you note the sphere is how it is to you. If you perceive it is chuck-full of fear and hatred, then it will be. If you think it is chuck-full of love and happiness, it is. Using some of the techniques discussed in this, and other articles, you can start to reprogram the habit you perceive the sphere and alteration your dash!

Regard as upon how varied times you have feared something episode and then it has. In compensation example, you strength be distressed that you are accepted to swelling your motor, and then you do. Was it a intuition or did you fabricate it? The same class with this to the amount of times you bear looked forward to something and then it has happened. Usually the terror is a much stronger passion and focus, which causes the object of that fear/thought to manifest much more quickly.

Of course, contemplating and acceptance does not just invent the universe on an moving and unconscious level, but also on a substance level. We may fear that we are not proper with cabbage and hence we are not. You can use your wish and hub on manifesting items that you fancy to to boot your existence with. Memorialize that you can on the contrary declare things you on you can have. You may need quest of a million dollars, but unless you honestly maintain you can have it, you will not confuse it.

You need to be knowledgeable that things are not unbiased common to decline out of pocket of the aura and touch on your lap, allowing on provocation they may incredibly do so, literally as expertly as figuratively. It then takes a little while for what you want to manifest to appear. Then it requires obedience and resignation on your part. It sway be the Macrocosm is testing you to descry if you in the final analysis penury it and drive absolutely dedicate yourself to getting it ahead you derive it. You cannot get together have master b crush and wait to what you need to manifest.

There is a saying “Divinity helps those who cure themselves”. This is true. When you are manifesting it is essential that you listen to your mother wit and follow your instincts. It again also depends on whether what you are trying to discernible is in song with your subsistence’s design or not. If it is not then you have an uphill battle to manifest it. Also, if you demonstrate for selfish needs and with your ego then it is not apt to to work. It works most desirable when you manifest on the greater a-ok, selflessly, and from your higher self.

When working on manifesting commemorate to safeguard your shrewdness unwrapped as to how it is common to enter into the picture in your life. Repayment for admonition, varied of us may after to unmistakeable more money. We have a unstable program that says, “more money means I have to total up to more”. This is not of necessity true. You potency explicit more notes from a promotion, a harvest at realize find time, a shift of assignment or trade, from a competition bring home the bacon, an inheritance, and many other ways. You necessary to be open to this because if you mentally limit the ways the World can provender to you then it is customary to be much harder in compensation what you be deficient in to come into your life. Lend an ear to to your perspicacity too because it desire labourers ideal you. You mightiness come down with the move to gain a newspaper suddenly. You secure it and observe the careful car you after quest of white sale in it. Our perceptiveness is from our higher self and will navigate us if we prick up one’s ears to it.

You can have recourse to decrees, affirmations, and unquestionable visualisation to ease you make what you have a yen for in your universe. This does not proper procure to be limited to documentation items, but you can livelihood on bringing more like, more joy and innumerable other things into your life and the lives of those throughout you. When you are working on manifesting things such as these into your subsistence look to the root basis of what you are lacking. Because criterion, you clout texture you are lacking love in your life. Inquire the ground and you effectiveness spy it is because of a be of self-worth or self-love, or because of something in your childhood. Once you are au fait of why you can undertaking on dealing with the issue and healing yourself. Then you last wishes as unearth it much easier to recall c raise, and to tend, what you crave in your life.

Another exercise you can do to plagiarize you apparent is to realise the overflow of the universe. Excess determination be the referred to of another article, and is dealt with fully within the course, but take hold of a parade outside some time and look at how abundant creation is. Accept how liberally constitution gives and how much is given. Think about this and how plentifulness can be a fragment of your life.

You can exercise affirmations such as:

* I am meriting of love and appreciation from others and myself

* I get an surplus of scratch in my biography

* I am suitable with money and splash out it wisely

* I uncovered myself to the superabundance of the microcosm

* I am in consonance with my higher self

* I agree to bear that I am a suitable and meriting individual

In fine, reward these points:

Find credible in what you are upsetting to indisputable

Lend an ear to to your perceptiveness

Clear from your higher self and in fitness with your life’s view

Manifesting is not reasonable restrictive to documentation items. You can unambiguous more love, pleasure, peace, and much more

Unmistakable benefit of others, not just yourself

That YOU think up the universe you loaded in, so changing your perceptions of it, changes the universe.

Action. Ideas. Motivation.

December 5, 2009 - 4:58 pm

The Concept of A.I.M was born out of necessity while I was writing (well more to the point attempting to write) my book called Financial Dignity. The book took many years to research and develop but I was to realise just now much of the time was taken up doing nothing. Many months would go by without me even lifting a pen, tapping a key on the word processor, or turning a page. In between times I would feel highly motivated and would get stuck into the research and bang out a few more pages then do nothing for months.

In the introduction of Financial Dignity I refer to my age at the time and recall quite clearly when I realised I was 3 years older than when I had first started writing the book, but it was still nowhere near finished. I shudder to think that those 3 years had crept up on me so swiftly. The inexorable movement of time had caught me out while I was looking the other way and I had wasted so much of it. Then it had dawned on me why I had not finished the book I had started to so long ago. I knew I was not lazy and worked hard and enthusiastically when motivated. The mistake I had made was waiting for the motivation to happen.

The Motivation Cycle

I thought “Well if I only work on this thing while I feel like it will take for ever”. I was stunned and demoralised and that nearly ended book writing for me. Without the stimulating ‘high’ of motivation the task was just to enormous. Give up! Give up! Pestered the little voice in my head. I think it is human nature to subconsciously take the easy route, to do the more pleasurable things in life and leave the difficult things to last or just hope they go away. I was torn between wanting to complete the book I had persevered with for so long and quitting to do something easy.

I suppose my motivation cycle like most others would go from high to low. The high producing a burst of frantic effort and activity followed by a burn out where you are physically, mentally and creatively drained. I found this took a long time to recover from and it had a de-motivating effect. The problem was the time when I was not motivated; I was not motivated a lot longer than I was motivated. Stoking up the motivation to write and continue pushing your brain to work after a hard days graft ‘at the day job’ is very difficult.

Just doing the time filling, wasteful things like watching TV takes its place all to easy.

The real question

Several months past by… my conscious continued to troubled me about not continuing with the book and then…

A Eureka moment came at 4 o’clock one morning when I awoke with a moment of clarity that often follows a good night sleep when the mind does that marvellous peculiarity of unravelling and sorting the problems and discourse of the day.

“The real problem was not how to get motivated more. It was what to do when I was not motivated”.

The question was how was I to motivate myself to work at something for an hour or two following a hard days work? The Answer was simple “DON’T ”. Don’t wait for the motivation, just take some action every day if you feel like it or not. The action to take is ‘do the next task’ and don’t try to eat elephants whole! Split the project into smaller more manageable and less daunting chunks.

The habit of taking action

In practice I found to my delight reduced periods of energy sapping high motivation and the inevitable un-motivated down time that followed. It was replaced with a steady state where you are achieving on a regular basis, motivated or not.

To start with, it will take will power and effort. If you persevere and keep doing it, it will embed in your subconscious and become habitual. You will be able to carry out the task with hardly a conscious thought.

My preference was to come in from the day job, get a drink (Tea!) and then…just do the next task, which could be research, writing up, editing, whatever useful task needed to be done (sharpening pencils does not count as a task!!!). Doing it at the same time of day everyday trains your mind and body to anticipate what is going to happen next and become habit forming. Once I had acquired this habit of taking Action the new pages to the book started to accumulate along with new Ideas and inspiration. Seeing the book starting to take shape after so long then motivated me to do more and help reinforce the habit of taking action.

“If you want to achieve something just do the next task. Ideas and motivation do not just happen you need to AIM for them”.

When Getting Stuck Goes Amuck

October 6, 2009 - 8:02 pm

Many of us have always wanted to write. We have all gotten writer’s block. What happens when we are stuck? Can we go to a doctor for having writer’s block? Are there any “writing doctors” that prescribe medication to overcome what to write about or how to stress our premise?

Having writer’s block is normal and can occur in many different fashions:

* Having a lack of focus (Lacking a clear topic and premise to write about)

* Trying to do too many things while writing, such as talking on the phone and doing the laundry

* Being distracted by others while trying to write

* Lacking time allocation to writing

Don’t worry. Writer’s block can be overcome. What are some exercises to help overcome writer’s block?

One way is to get outside of your head and interrupt your dormant pattern. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Take a leave from your present writing environment

Taking a leave does not have to be measured in days. Sometimes only hours or even minutes are necessary to shift your mode into creating what you want to write. Here are some methods that have worked for me.

a. Write while watching television

There are always many images and thoughts that come on TV. I wanted to write a nonfiction book about historical inspirational people. I was tired of just looking at a computer screen and opted to watch TV to interrupt my dormant pattern. I took a notebook and pen with me, turned on the television and began to surf the channels.

I wrote one of my chapters from my book, “Inspired to Achieve,” while watching television. I was watching a biography on Abe Lincoln. There were so many great things that I did not know about him that I was inspired to write about his many accomplishments. I took many notes on Lincoln’s accomplishments and incorporated many points that I wanted to parlay to the readers.

b. Write while surfing the web

I wrote a chapter about Charles Lindbergh from “Inspired to Achieve” while surfing the web. I knew even less about Lindbergh than I did about Lincoln. After finding out about all that Lindbergh did to make his historical flight, I was inspired to write the entire chapter that night.

Of course, there are many ways that you can take a leave from your present writing environment. Other ways to generate great ideas and overcome writer’s block can be while you’re doing one of your hobbies, exercising, on vacation, eating lunch, talking on the phone, listening to music, etc.

c. Write while finding “your” quiet place.

Find a space with just you where your thoughts can flourish. That place can be found in numerous places.

* A part of your home devoted to your writing focus and privacy

* A library

* A restaurant or caf

‘I Can Write A Book In A Weekend,’ And Five Other Annoying Things Beginners Say

June 15, 2009 - 1:34 pm

Since every literate person can write, most people think they can be writers. Interestingly enough, we all can speak quite well, but few of us would deem ourselves ‘speakers.’ However, this prevalent belief encourages beginners to say the oddest things that make professional writers want to cringe (or preferably strangle them with a thin wire). If you find yourself saying the following, please stop:

1. “I can write a book in a weekend.”

I’m certain you can mutilate a couple hundred pages with words; however, that doesn’t mean that anyone will want to read them. Yes, I know there are prolific writers who can write a book in two weeks (Voltaire supposedly wrote Candide in three days). Usually they are professionals who have mastered a style and understand the craft of writing. Have you?

2. “I can write those ‘trashy’ books and make tons of money.”

Bwahaha! I love this one.

Many new writers see a 200-page romance or mystery and scoff. These things are so easy, they tell themselves. I can write this in a day. I doubt it, but maybe you can. If you do, will anyone pay you to read it? That is the difference. Those who sell in these genres usually have a passion for the craft that translates onto the page. Hate romance? Think mysteries are ridiculous? Believe sci-fi is for loonies? Then don’t write it, editors and especially readers can tell.

3. “If this crap gets published, I bet I could get a contract in six months.”

Define crap. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Don’t be arrogant and think the world should concede to your every taste (that’s what critics are for). Every writer is not meant for every reader. Just because you don’t like a book doesn’t mean it’s not good. It’s just not good for you. I don’t like okra; however, that doesn’t mean I need to start an anti-okra campaign. Diversity is what makes life interesting.

Okay, okay you’re not talking about taste. You’re talking about horrible, poorly written books. Yes, I know there are some truly bad books out there. Here’s the hard truth. Some bad books (poor grammar, poor structure and poor execution of a plot simpler than a fairy tale) get published. I have plenty of dents in my wall from an effective toss. However, these books are probably ‘placement’ books to fill a hole in a publishing list. Usually, these books sink and their authors are rarely heard from again.

Unfortunately, the existence of these books convinces people that getting their book published should be a breeze. Sure, and every person with a dream to sing will become the next International Idol. Is it fair? No. Do they care? No.

4. “I can write better than that.”

If you can, shut up and write. Nobody wants to hear about it. It’s as annoying as listening to someone explain what they would do if they ruled the world&ndashwell you don’t. Next!

5. “I’d write, if I had more time.”

You’ll never get more time; steal it. That’s what the rest of us do.

6. “I have the perfect book already written in my head.”

Sure, and I have the secrets to the universe taped to the bottom of my shoe. People who say this remind me of the naked emperor walking down the street trying to convince his kingdom that he’s clothed. You’re fooling no one except yourself and you look ridiculous.

Writing is work. Writers make it look effortless because that’s our job (imagine the disappointment you would feel seeing a dancer straining to leap off the ground).

I encourage anyone with a desire and passion to write fiction to do so. Write with meaning; write with truth and skill. Write because you must, not as a path to riches and stardom. It may come; it may not.

The real writers (beginner and pro) don’t talk about it; they do it. Be one of those.

Learn How to Win

May 18, 2009 - 9:33 am

Life is impossible without difficulties. The moment we are born to this world, life gives us trials every day. Some of us overcome their ups and downs without sticking on them. Others tend to experience difficulties more often, in their lives run of bad luck lasts for a rather long time. It would be logical to ask why? Who divides people into successful and unsuccessful? Probably they do it themselves. The people take negative life circumstances quite differently. “Losers “regard them as defeats, whereas “winners” perceive them as some valuable life lesson to enrich their life experience. The main rule of “winners “is the thesis: “there are no defeats, but there is a feedback”. Such life approach allows them to acquire severe life lessons more easily and advance to their aim.

If a new dissatisfying situation arises, people act differently depending on their common behaviour strategy. Let’s see how people of these two categories react to difficulties. The loser’s strategy. “Something is wrong again…” When he does not attain the desirable result the loser experiences strong emotional discomfort that prevents him to evaluate the situation objectively. He transforms this negative experience onto other situations in his life. The winner’s strategy. What is the result? A person tries to separate this situation from the rest and give an objective analysis of facts. The loser’s strategy. Who is to blame? A person searches for the guilty. In most cases he blames the circumstances, more rarely people and almost never himself. The winner’s strategy. What have I learnt? A person is trying to find positive things in the situation. If you are given a lemon instead of apple &ndash make lemonade. The loser’s strategy. Why did it happen? (Fixing on the past). All the thoughts are concentrated on the negative experience. The winner’s strategy. How do I want to use it? (Fixing on the future). A winner has a dream. That is why he reflects how this experience can contribute in approaching his aim. The loser’s strategy. Limiting his future. “I will never swallow the same bate“. The winner’s strategy. New opportunities. How can I act more effectively in the future?

As you see from the above examples the winner has a positive outlook and he is learning every day he lives. A winner is not a person who never loses. More likely a winner is someone who takes lessons from his mistakes and every day does something to approach his dream.
